The Shardbound System:
A narrative driven system using Power Shards, Corruption Dice, and Faith Influence, where every use of power risks divine madness.
Godshard Encounters & Legendary Imprints:
Face living fragments of divinity in cinematic showdowns. Defeating a Godshard imprints its essence upon you, granting power only the worthy can wield.
Evolving Items:
Discover relics that grow with your journey. Their abilities and appearance evolve through your decisions, reflecting the victories and flaws that define your character.
The Shardbound System
Power Shards
Gain passive traits and active abilities tied to divine aspects. Shards evolve over time and expand your combat and roleplay options.
Corruption Dice
Each use of Shard abilities increases your Corruption Die. Higher results trigger risks such as mutations, amnesia, or loss of control. At maximum corruption, you may transform into something different...
Faith Influence
Your use of divine power shapes how NPCs and factions respond. Their reaction can grant support and opportunities, or turn to fear and hostility that limits your path.
Godshard Encounters & Legendary Imprints
Godshard Encounters
Face awakened divine entities that manifest as massive, living phenomena. Each Godshard represents a powerful aspect of the world.
Players can defeat, impress, or commune with these beings to gain access to unique Legendary Imprints.
Legendary Imprints
By engaging with a Godshard, characters may receive a Legendary Imprint.
Each Imprint bears:
• One Legendary Ability
• One Divine Trace as a passive effect
• Increased corruption gain
Evolving Items
Evolving Items grow with your character and change based on your decisions and achievements.
Their abilities and appearance shift as you progress, reflecting your choices, victories and sacrifices. Each relic shapes your build and playstyle, becoming a unique part of your journey.
